Regional Growth Modeling

LEAMgroup began with LEAM, the land use model originally developed at the University of Illinois. Our regional growth modeling team specializes in forecasting land use change scenarios, linking land use to transportation and other modeling, and conducting impact analyses on the results. We consult clients from rural counties to multi-county metropolitan regions to military installations and their regions. We assist clients, as much or as little as they wish, with building a localized model and information portal, developing policy and growth scenarios, executing the model, and interpreting results. Public Charrettes

LEAMgroup staff are experienced in the sharing the planning process with the public, in fact, all of our work includes stakeholder and public involvement. We believe that public involvement is an essential component of planning that not only increases buy-in and political success, but improves the process through local knowledge. Consulting services include meetings, stakeholder polling and feedback analysis, web-based engagement, and information management.

Training

Our technologies typically require conquering a small learning curve before they become truly integral tools in the clients' planning process. We provide custom training and support to our clients in the form of on-site training sessions, documentation, and tutorials.
