LEAMgroup, Inc. was formed in 2005 to assist local and regional agencies
transition from the development phase with the University of Illinois'
LEAMlab to the full application of a planning support system. Since
then, we have helped numerous local governments and military
installations implement modeling, content management, and public
outreach via the internet to enhance their planning efforts. Through
this endeavor, we have seen planning processes go from
behind-the-scenes meetings of experts to transparent coordination of
stakeholders and the public. We have seen plans go from documents that
collect dust to flexible systems that yield a better understanding of
the very complex interactions of a place.
LEAMgroup staff provide expertise
and years of experience in modeling, visualization, integration
with planning processes, and high-performance computing. Based in the
University of Illinois research park in Champaign, we benefit
from being part of a tight-knit community of innovators.
